SlideClark / guide
Claude writes the slides. SlideClark is the editor.
Use Claude in a chat window, or let a browser agent such as Claude for Chrome edit the deck that is open in front of you.
Two ways to work with Claude
In a chat window
Copy the prompt from Build with AI, paste it into Claude, and open the .sldc file or JSON block it returns. Good for a first draft of the whole deck.
In your browser
With the SlideClark editor open, a browser agent such as Claude for Chrome can read and change the live deck through the SlideClark JavaScript API. Good for edits, fixes and iteration.
Slides as code
Claude can write long, structured HTML and CSS, which suits SlideClark’s custom slides. A custom slide is three strings, HTML, CSS and JavaScript, on a 1280 by 720 stage. It can hold diagrams, SVG, canvas drawings, animation and small interactive demos, and it follows your brand through shared CSS.
You do not have to read the code. Click an element on the slide to move it, resize it or change its colour, and SlideClark writes the change back as inline style.
What the live API looks like
SlideClark.addCustomSlide({
html: '<h1>Q3 revenue</h1><p class="big">42%</p>',
css: 'h1{font-size:72px} .big{font-size:220px}'
}, undefined, 'Revenue');
await SlideClark.auditAll(); // measures every slide, custom ones includedChecking its own work
An agent can call SlideClark.auditAll() to run each custom slide in a hidden sandbox and measure the text. It reports text that leaves the slide, is clipped by its container or overlaps other text, and it reports unknown for a slide that could not be measured, so a failed check never looks like a pass.
Always undoable
Every change an agent makes goes through validation and the undo history. If Claude breaks a slide, press Ctrl+Z. The deck it replaced is also kept in a short list of recoverable backups.
Questions
Does SlideClark connect to Claude?
No. There is no integration to set up. Claude reads the published guide or the prompt you paste, and either returns a file or uses the page’s JavaScript API in your own browser tab.
Can Claude use my brand?
Yes. Give it the colours, fonts and logo rules. It can put them in the shared deck CSS so that every custom slide follows them.
Where does the guide live?
At slideclark.com/ai-guide.md as plain markdown, and in the app through SlideClark.guide().
