SlideClark / guide
An AI slide maker with a visual editor
Ask any AI for a deck. SlideClark opens it as real slides that you can click, move and restyle, then present or export.
What an AI slide maker needs to get right
Chat assistants write good outlines and plain text, but they cannot see a slide. Without a precise format they produce slides where text overflows, boxes collide or every slide looks the same.
SlideClark gives the AI a published specification of the deck format and the layouts, with font width tables so it can size text before placing it. The editor can then measure every slide and report text that clips or leaves the safe area, so the AI (or you) can fix it.
From brief to deck in five steps
Open the editor
Go to the editor and click AI in the top bar, then Build with AI.
Describe the deck
Write the topic, the audience, the length and any facts or numbers the AI should use.
Paste the prompt into your AI
Copy the prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or another assistant.
Open the file it returns
The AI sends back a .sldc file, or one JSON block. Drop it on the page or use Open.
Edit and finish
Change anything by clicking it. Ask the AI to rework one slide with the Copy slide prompt button.
Three ways the AI can build a slide
A deck can mix all three.
Template layouts
More than twenty layouts: title, statement, metrics, chart, table, comparison, process, timeline, flow, bento, code, image and more. Fast, consistent, and editable field by field.
Free-form objects
A blank slide where the AI places text, shapes, lines, images and icons at exact positions on the 1280 by 720 stage.
HTML, CSS and JavaScript
A slide written as code, for the cases where layout, branding or animation matter. It runs in a sandbox and can still be edited by hand.
Why bring your own AI
The best model for writing and the best model for code change from month to month. Because SlideClark only asks for a text reply, you can use any of them, including ones you already pay for, and compare their decks side by side.
SlideClark does not see your prompts or the AI’s reply. The conversation stays between you and the assistant you chose.
Questions
Do I need an API key?
No. SlideClark never calls an AI service. You paste the prompt into an assistant you already use.
Which assistants work?
Any that can follow a long written specification and return text or a file. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot all fit that description. Agents that can run JavaScript in your browser can edit the open deck directly.
Can I edit the slides without the AI?
Yes. Every slide is editable on the canvas, and the Format, Slide, Code and Deck tabs control fonts, colours, backgrounds, themes and transitions.
